MLK: Environmental Pioneer


Did you know that Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr was a pioneering environmentalist working to raise awareness about urban environmental issues and public health concerns? He understood clearly the devastating impact poor air quality and environmental pollution can have on a community and advocated for protection of natural resources informed and inspired by the Environmental Justice movement.
