Green Clean: Bathroom Stains

A simple paste mixture using 2 of the "must-have" green clean ingredients will take care of almost any stain in the bathroom.

Make a paste of 3 Tbs baking soda to1 tsp lemon juice and use for almost any stubborn bathroom stain.

1) Drains around tubs and sinks: spread the mixture around the stain and let it sit for 15 mins - 1 hour.  Rinse with warm water.

2) Black mildew on your grout and caulking: spread paste on area and leave it for 2 - 8 hours. Rinse with hot water.

3) Tiles: This mixture is nonabrasive enough to take care of soap scum build up on tiles.

4) Toilets: for tough stains, use the paste to scrub the bowl, then add vinegar to the bowl as well and wait 30 minutes - 1 hour before flushing.

For hard to reach areas, try using an old toothbrush. After using, soak the brush in vinegar, rinse with hot water and let air dry before storing with your other cleaning supplies.
